Direct Flash	SoftBox

Description: The SoftBox diffuses the light with the flash in the direct flash position. The light is softened and more evenly distributed as it passes through a center-weighted, frosted diffuser, enlarging the light source to roughly 10 times the size of the flash head itself. The unique design does not block either exposure sensors or auto focus assist beams on most flashes.

Application: To achieve a softer look with reduced shadow definition. For use on an individual flash or to softly illuminate the background in a multiple flash set up.

Compatibility: Unless otherwise noted, all LumiQuest accessories fit most standard bounce flashes. If in doubt, email us.

Attachment: Self-adhesive Velcro® is included with all LumiQuest products however, if you'd prefer not to use that you may purchase the optional UltraStrap.

Light Loss: Approximately 1 1/4 Stops.

Great Product for indoor event photography and Black Tie Gala photography

I am very pleased with the result. I am professional media photographer, and I have been published my pictures from 1989. I had Black Tie Gala assignment for publication few days ago. I was using LumiQuest SoftBox and pictures look great. The client is very happy with pictures.

Softbox is light, and it is perfectly match with Nikon SB900. Soft box produce even and soft light keeping natural color of the skin alive and beautiful. I love this product. Every soft box is different because every company is using different material,and the result is different. I like the material in LumiQuest SoftBox. I agree with 1 1/4 Stops loss.

When I took pictures at Black Tie Gala, I have to set my SB 900, EV -0.7, -1 because of the reflection, highlights of white shirt and black tuxedo. and it is different in different situation. You could control the light and it is important.

Great size for travel

I love the soft light this makes and it helps get rid of red eye. It fits in my bag and takes almost no space, better than some of the other brands I've tried that are made of plastic and don't fold up. If you shoot portraits or events this is a great option for up close shots.
