Description: The Quik Bounce is designed for use with or without a ceiling to soften the light and transition from horizontal to vertical format without having to adjust or remove the Quik Bounce from the flash. The unique design has doors that can be opened to allow 80% ceiling bounce while redirecting 20% of the light forward to “fill” the shadows cast by the ceiling bounce. When there is not a low, neutral ceiling available to bounce the light, the doors remain closed and 100% of the light is redirected forward.

Application: To soften shadows and reduce unpleasant red eye. Unique design allows for shooting with or without a ceiling in both horizontal and vertical formats. Ideal for wedding and event photographers.

Compatibility: Unless otherwise noted, all LumiQuest accessories fit most standard bounce flashes. If in doubt, email us.

Attachment: Self-adhesive Velcro® is included with all LumiQuest products however, if you'd prefer not to use that you may purchase the optional UltraStrap.

Great for wedding shoots!

I recently purchased the Quick Bounce for wedding and love it. Because of the way it goes on the flash I can easily shoot horizonals and verticals without removing the flash from the camera. Great results. Don't forget to get their removable strap instead of using the velcro tabs to but on your flash.
Best single flash accessory out there

No other single accessory on the market does as much or works as well as the Quik Bounce for social photography. I've used most of them and it's been my go-to choice for a couple of years now.

It's very effective, versatile, efficient and fast - then it folds away flat. It's big enough to offer good softening of the direct fill-light, but not too unwieldy (or as daft-looking as some).

It's point-and-shoot easy to use, and you effectively get three lights in one. The main light is nice and soft bounced off the ceiling, and then the forward component fills in shadows under eyes and chins (and hats!) and puts a sparkling catchlight in the eyes. The third light is the ambient - just drag the shutter to balance up the background.

Bounce ratio is about right for normal rooms, but for higher ceilings you can increase the upward component usefully by zooming the flash head to put more light out of the top.

It's very fast switching from horizontal to vertical, and efficient outside as when the flaps are closed no precious light is wasted out of the top, back or sides. This is a problem with many other devices as you need all you can get with high speed sync.

It's expensive for what it is, but cheap for what it does. I have no connection with Lumiquest.
Great Product But Not Well Built

First let me say, I love this product and have been using it almost exclusively for about 15 months. The one problem I have though is it has fallen apart. I open and close the "doors" and have slowly watched the hinge area deteriorate until they have fallen off.

LumiQuest says ... we are working on this issue and hope a retooling will solve the problem. In the meantime return it to us and we will replace it for you. The QuikBounce is guaranteed for life ... as are all LumiQuest products.
Great product for event photography

This is by far my most favorite product when it comes to covering events. I can move quickly and adjust it to the different situations. It easily goes form horizontal to vertical mode and vice-verse. I also love the results I get when a ceiling is present. It is easy to fold and stuff in your pocket, so it is always with me!

Overall great product, definitely 5 star!

I shoot several events professionally, and have found that the quik bounce is a great option for every event I shoot. It closes for high ceilings, but still softens the light, and if the ceiling is low enough, it bounces but still fills the eyes. Great Product!
