Quest Couch has been a writer, photographer
and producer of award-winning multimedia for nearly 30 years. As a result of
the demands of this type of photography, he developed the LumiQuest line
of flash accessories, generally considered to be the most popular
of its kind in the world. He is the author of two instructional books on
flash photography.
After obtaining undergraduate and Master's degrees in
Radio, Television & Film
from the University of Texas at Austin, Quest went on to explore
a wide range of interests. These pursuits have resulted in a number of
patents and products, not only in the photo industry, but also in SCUBA
diving and other areas, as well.
Quest continues to write, make art, experiment with photography
and develop new photo acccessories while dividing his time between
Texas, Costa
Rica and Querencia,
his recently completed mountain retreat in New Mexico, as he skis,
kayaks, fly fishes, SCUBA dives, and strives to become a less pathetic
surfer.
